Orr-Gray is a crisp sans-serif born from the storied walls of a small-town historic pharmacy in Anderson, South Carolina.

Orr-Gray takes its name and inspiration from the painted lettering on the Orr-Gray Pharmacy building in Anderson, South Carolina, a longtime cornerstone of the local community. Originally opened in the early 20th century, the pharmacy served as both a practical resource and a neighborhood landmark. Though the building now houses an interior design studio, the bold, utilitarian letters of its signage remain a testament to the craftsmanship of a bygone era.

Orr-Gray translates the clarity and precision of this hand-painted signage into a modern sans-serif typeface with sharp, geometric forms that retain the straightforward charm of the original. With ten variations in its family, Orr-Gray is ideal for bold headlines, branding, and impactful display applications, offering a balance of historical character and contemporary versatility.
